Dykes on Bikes® Rehoboth Beach Women’s Motorcycle Contingent Debuts at Delaware State Pride
REHOBOTH BEACH, DE — The Dykes on Bikes® Rehoboth Beach Women’s Motorcycle Contingent will make their powerful public debut at Delaware State Pride on Saturday, June 7, marking their first official event with engines revved and values loud and proud.
As part of Delaware’s only statewide Pride festival—held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Legislative Hall in Dover—the WMC will host a table and invite visitors to learn about their mission, history, and how to get involved. Thousands will gather, rain or shine, for a family-friendly day of entertainment featuring headliners Alisabeth von Presley (American Idol) and Madde-lyn Hatter (Dragula Season 3), along with food trucks, vendors, panels, and a beer garden.
Dykes on Bikes® Rehoboth Beach Women’s Motorcycle Contingent is rooted in the fierce legacy of the original San Francisco chapter, carrying forward a tradition of visibility, pride, and solidarity among lesbian and queer women motorcyclists and their allies. Their mission is to empower and unite lesbian + queer women through philanthropy, Rides, support for LGBTQ+ and women’s causes, Pride events, local community action, and education.
The Rehoboth Beach contingent is lesbian + queer woman-centric but not exclusive—welcoming riders, passengers, non-riders, and volunteers of all genders who share their values of bold inclusion, community pride, and mutual respect.
